European acknowledgement -Dear Employer, I have been diagnosed with a rheumatic disease

The European Agency for Safety & Health at Work is now sharing our “Dear employer” leaflet in English – See the link to there website and the leaflet here. 

The leaflet is part of their campaign “Healthy Workplaces Lighten the Load”, which focuses on the prevention of work-related muscle and skeletal problems.

EU-OSHA writes that musculoskeletal disorders are one of the most widespread work-related health problems in Europe. The campaign therefore aims to share high-quality information on the subject via their website, encourage an integrated approach to dealing with the problem and offer practical tools and solutions that can be helpful in the workplace.

Here, our leaflet will now appear with a link to our website, where it can be downloaded and used by everyone as a good example of a tangible material that can help make a difference for people living with a rheumatic disease.

In its strategy 2018-2023, EULAR (European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology) has, among other goals, to focus on my ideal employer. Because so many people diagnosed with a rheumatic disease need solutions that can help them keep their work despite the disease.
