Person-centred rehabilitation, quality of life and working life for patients with arthritis

Programme 1 deals with person-centred rehabilitation, quality of life and working life and is the first programme that it is hoped will be established under the auspices of The Danish Centre for Expertise in Rheumatology.

The programme’s focus will be on sharing research-based knowledge and general information about rehabilitation to target groups who do not have health professional knowledge and who do not normally deal with rehabilitation. The target group also includes health educators broadly.

It is important for The Danish Centre for Expertise in Rheumatology that the broad knowledge about rehabilitation, which is already available in the research department at the Danish Arthritis Hospital, is made accessible to more people, with the ultimate and overall aim of giving people with, in particular, inflammatory arthritis a socially and occupationally rich life, with as little pain and fatigue as possible.

The programme therefore currently contains information for new target groups, education for traditional target groups in the health area and the creation of new knowledge pathways into the municipalities so that they are informed about rehabilitation opportunities for citizens with arthritis.
